Enjoy Some You-Time

Just five minutes walk from the expansive and unspoilt golden sands of Perranporth beach and nestled at the mouth of the coombe where Winston Graham lived and set his famous Poldark novels, is one of Cornwall’s hidden gems of small hotels.

Perfect Surroundings

The Bolenna rises from its specially created wildflower meadow to gaze across lawn tennis courts and parkland to views of Perranporth’s huge sand dunes. Built in 1925 the villa style looks intimate and compact from the front but this conceals five exquisite suites and rooms and one of the best stocked bars and restaurants in Cornwall.

Your Private Hideaway

Hidden behind the main building are two newly modernised traditional cottages set in coastal landscaped gardens and sleeping a maximum of 10 between them. The Hidden Garden at the rear of all the buildings is laid to a coastal planting and set for all weather dining and enjoys a westerly aspect to get the last of the evening sun whilst eating or drinking at one of the well-spaced tables.

last call for poldark tours

After eight years sitting at the zenith of Poldark related tourism, we have decided 2023 will be Karen’s final year of touring guests around Cornwall’s outstanding landscapes, tourist attractions and show stopping filming locations.

This also means that any and all visits to Nampara (pictured) will cease after 2023, as it is a location Karen has exclusive access to. So if seeing Nampara and experiencing Karen’s expertise and charm first hand is on your Poldark bucket list, this will likely be the final opportunity to do so.

Places are limited for next year, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch, it would b wonderful to see you all –
